10 Goals For 2018

Now that 2017 is done and dusted I'm sure we are all excited to see what 2018 brings, more new exciting adventures and goals that we've been meaning to reach or accomplish for a while. 2018 'The year of the Woman' So girls we have to make sure we kill it this year!
We all know staying on track with your goals is very hard, just try not to get side tracked and use a planner/diary to help you along the way, but don't worry if you don't accomplish all of your goals, there's always next year!
(These goals are just some of the ones i'm going to try out, they're not for everybody as everyone's different)
1. Put yourself first
I find that this is something we ALL slack on so much yet its so important! Take time out for yourself and look after yourself mentally and physically. Learn to say no, be a little bit selfish with some of your decisions. Aim to be the best version of yourself , start setting a schedule everyday where you have ME time, this could be anything from going to the gym to let off some steam or just chilling at home. Setting weekly goals for yourself could also be something worth doing.
2. Eat healthier
Your body is a temple! Try to fit more healthy food into your diet or replace unhealthy snacks with healthy ones. I know we all love a bit of chocolate here and there i don't mean stop eating junk completely but having healthier options i found has made me feel a lot better within myself, even the way you cook things like oven cooking compared to frying is so much more healthier although i know frying a lot of meat makes it more tasty. Drink more water as this helps your skin and try to cut down on fizzy drinks.
3. Let go of anything that is not serving you
Let go of toxic relationships and friendships, your'e too good! If people aren't helping you to make yourself a better person let it go. 2018 there's no time for anyone to be draining your energy, No one can stop your GLOW!
4. Travel
As soon as you get time or a break from work, travel somewhere , it doesn't have to be long-haul or somewhere boujee every time. There's so many destinations and cultures to experience and its not as expensive as you think its going to be, be spontaneous, you only live once!
5. Save Money
If you're already saving money put away a little bit more than you were saving before. Getting one of those money boxes that you can't open easily really helps! When putting money away forget about it straight away, don't give into temptation of breaking into it for those pair of trainers you want. If you do any over time or make any extra money put that away too!
6. PASS

Pass your driving test
Pass uni exams/coursework
You CAN do it
7. Wake up early
This is a hard one for me as i'm always up till like 3 am doing nothing, my brain just doesn't switch off. Getting up earlier gives you more time for yourself though even if you have a late start at work and want to sit in bed for a bit longer make yourself breakfast and tea, give yourself time to wake up your brain and it makes you feel 100 times better. Waking up around 9/10 am is a reasonable time.
8. Exercise more
Exercising not only helps you physically but also mentally, it helps you sleep better and just generally feel better within yourself. Aim to do some sort of exercise every week, you don't have to go to the gym! Home workouts are just as good or finding a hobby like swimming or even just running in the park.
9. Read/ watch documentaries
Lately i have realized being more educated is important, knowledge is power! Reading books can help you learn new words , my aim is to start reading books this year and this also helps with goal number 1, reading is a good way to spend 'me time'. Watching documentaries is another one i want to do more, it gives you more knowledge of things that are happening in the world and they are so interesting!
10. Live your best life
Whatever you do this year LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE, life is too short to worry about anything, if you want to do something, do it! Don't worry about what anyone thinks, Don't be too scared to do what you want to do, make it happen and don't let anybody tell you No! Book that flight and go, take risks because taking risks can land you in crazy places!
I hope that 2018 is a great year for all of you and you achieve the goals you have set for yourselves :)
