So putting opposite colours together seems to be the fashion every spring, especially the bright vibrant colours. I personally love block colour outfits, it's not for everyone but if you can rock it you're winning!
There's different ways you can 'rock the blocks' one option is to wear all one colour, for example if you were to wear all red you could wear all one contrast or mix the contrasts of red, in my opinion all one contrast stands out more and that's the option id go for as i like my outfits to stand out.
Another option is to mix garments of contrasting which can be from 2 to 4 colours. In my photo shoot with Will Daulphin i wore one of my fave block colour combinations , the classic blue and yellow look called 'Patriot'.
You can also just have one stand alone garment or accessory of one colour.
Complementary colours are usually opposite each other on the colour wheel (like blue & yellow) this works well if you want something to stand out.
The analogous colour scheme is more of a pleaser for some people as the colours are next to each other and stand out less, red and purple is a great look for this!
This is definitely my new fave style and all the big brands (Céline ,Valentino and Balenciaga)
are starting to use the block colour idea for spring/summer 17!
